1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Desert Safari Tour Abu Dhabi (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Company”) and any individual or group (“you”, “your”, “customer”, or “guest”) who accesses our website or books our services.
By booking or participating in any of our tours or activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
We strongly recommend reading these Terms carefully before confirming any booking. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.
2. Our Services
Desert Safari Tour Abu Dhabi provides guided tours and related experiences, including but not limited to:
- Morning, Evening, and Overnight Desert Safari Packages
- Dune Bashing
- Camel Riding
- Quad Biking and Dune Buggy Rides
- BBQ Dinner, Cultural Entertainment & Photography
- Private and Group Tours
- Transfers and Pickup/Drop-off Services
The Company may introduce new services or modify existing ones without prior notice, as necessary for safety, operational efficiency, or customer experience improvement.
3. Booking Policy
- Bookings may be made directly through our website, WhatsApp, email, or phone.
- Bookings are confirmed only once we have received full guest details (name, pickup location, contact number, total number of guests).
- Payment is collected at the time of pickup in cash (AED) by our driver, unless pre-arranged otherwise.
- Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation message or email detailing pickup time, meeting point, and service inclusions.
- You must review your confirmation details immediately and inform us of any discrepancies before the tour date.
4. Payment Terms
- Mode of Payment:
- Payment is made directly to the driver in cash (AED) upon pickup.
- Advance payments via online transfer or payment link (if offered) must be completed before tour date.
- Receipts:
- A digital or paper receipt can be provided upon request.
- Failure to Pay:
- Failure to make payment at pickup will result in cancellation of the booking.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse service to customers who fail to pay as agreed.
5. Pickup, Drop-off, and Delays
- Pickup and drop-off are available from your provided location within Abu Dhabi city limits or from Al Wahda Mall and Safeer Mall meeting points (for tours with common pickup).
- Pickup time: Between 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM depending on location and route. Total tour duration is approximately 6 to 7 hours.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather conditions, multiple pickups, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Guests must be available at the confirmed pickup time and reachable by phone/WhatsApp.
- If the guest is unavailable or unresponsive at pickup time, the tour will be treated as a no-show with no refund or reschedule option.
- Drop-off times may vary depending on traffic and other operational conditions.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
A. Customer-Initiated Cancellations
- Cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the tour start time.
- Cancellations within less than 24 hours will be charged 100% of the total amount.
- No refunds are available for no-shows or late arrivals.
B. Rescheduling Policy
- You may reschedule your tour once, provided you inform us at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour time.
- Rescheduling is subject to vehicle and seat availability.
- No fee applies if rescheduled within the permitted time window.
C. Company-Initiated Cancellations
- The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Low participation or other unforeseen circumstances
- In such cases, you may choose between a rescheduled tour or a full refund (if prepayment was made).
D. Refund Procedure
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days.
7. Safety, Participation & Age Policy
- Our tours include off-road driving, dune bashing, and other adventurous activities. Guests participate entirely at their own risk.
- There is no strict age restriction for participation; however, we may suggest suitable activities based on age or physical condition to ensure comfort and safety.
- Infants, elderly participants, and guests with medical issues such as heart conditions, back/spine problems, or pregnancy must inform us in advance.
- The Company reserves the right to deny participation if a guest’s condition may pose a risk to safety.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult during all activities.
- Guests must comply with all instructions from the driver or tour guide at all times.
8. Liability & Risk Acknowledgment
- Participation in desert activities inherently carries risks, including but not limited to motion sickness, sand inhalation, heat exposure, and minor injuries.
- The Company, its affiliates, and employees are not responsible for personal injury, loss, damage, or death unless caused directly by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
- Customers must take full responsibility for their personal belongings during the tour.
- The Company is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to property during transit or at the campsite.
- You agree to release and hold harmless Desert Safari Tour Abu Dhabi and its staff from any claims arising from participation in the tour.
9. Itinerary & Service Modifications
- All itineraries and inclusions listed on the website or promotional material are subject to change without prior notice.
- The sequence of activities (such as dune bashing, camel ride, dinner, and shows) may be adjusted for operational reasons.
- In rare cases, certain activities may be substituted with alternatives of equal or greater value.
10. Conduct & Behavior
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, fellow travelers, and local customs.
- Use of alcohol, illegal substances, or offensive behavior may result in immediate termination of the tour without refund.
- The driver or guide reserves the right to refuse service to any participant whose behavior poses a risk to others.
11. Insurance
- The Company’s vehicles and operations are insured as required under UAE law.
- Guests are strongly advised to have personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, or loss of property during participation.
12. Website Use & Intellectual Property
- All materials, text, images, and design elements on our website are the property of Desert Safari Tour Abu Dhabi.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content without prior written consent.
- Unauthorized use of the Website or interference with its functionality is strictly prohibited.
13. Privacy Policy
- We collect personal data such as name, contact number, pickup address, and booking details solely to process your tour.
- We do not share, sell, or rent customer information to third parties except where necessary to deliver our services.
- You consent to receive confirmations, reminders, and promotional messages unless you opt out.
- All payments and personal data are handled with appropriate security measures.
14. Photography, Media & Marketing
- During the tour, our team may capture photos or videos for marketing and social media promotion.
- By participating, you grant us permission to use such media unless you explicitly inform us in writing before the tour begins.
- Use of professional cameras or drones by guests may require prior approval.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delay or cancellation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Extreme weather
- Sandstorms or road closures
- Vehicle failure
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters or public events
In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or a refund if prepayment was made.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi Courts.
17. Updates to Terms
Desert Safari Tour Abu Dhabi may revise these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
